NYPD Shooting In Harlem Revisited

I see that Gov. David Paterson has called for a thorough investigation but has stopped short of saying that race was a factor. Ok. I will accept that pending the investigation.

Not deliberate? How does that work then? Read the rest of this entry »

NYPD Cop Fatally Shot By Fellow Officer

It seems the boys in blue have been at it again. An off-duty police officer saw a man breaking into his car and a struggle ensued. When the man broke free the officer (Omar Edwards) pulled his gun and gave chase. That seems a perfectly legitimate thing to do. After all he was a police officer.

I wonder why it took them so long to arrest him? I mean really… an unarmed man, being knelt on by another cop, shot in the back, caught on video? It shouldn’t have taken two days let alone two weeks to have decided that under those circumstances charges should be brought. They’re sure as hell quick enough when it’s a member of the public. John Doe would have been locked up in seconds. Read the rest of this entry »
